The Vision Begins

A group of passionate football enthusiasts and local coaches came together with a dream—to nurture young talent and create a platform for youth development in football. What began as informal kickabout sessions turned into regular weekend practices, laying the foundation for something greater. The idea of building a disciplined, skill-oriented academy was born.

Community Engagement & Early Training

The passion began spreading across Thrissur as local children, parents, and sports supporters showed increasing interest. Regular weekend sessions transformed into structured training routines. We conducted awareness camps in schools, partnered with local grounds, and initiated friendly matches to encourage participation. This year was all about building relationships with the community and laying the groundwork for player development.

Structured Coaching & Volunteer Support

With more players joining, we introduced a proper coaching framework. Volunteer coaches, many of whom were former players, joined hands to offer consistent and dedicated training. Drills, physical conditioning, and tactical sessions became part of our regular routine. Parents and well-wishers contributed their time and resources, and our network of supporters grew stronger.

Major Outreach & Program Development

This year marked a turning point. We launched structured seasonal programs such as Summer Camps, Weekend Clinics, and Talent Scouting Sessions. We reached hundreds of aspiring players through our outreach programs. The increased visibility and demand motivated us to move forward with the process of formal registration. We also laid plans for advanced training and competitive match participation.

Official Club Registration

On June 3, 2024, we officially registered as a football club under the name Outlanders FC. This achievement was the result of five years of groundwork, community effort, and unwavering belief. With our legal identity established, we stepped into a new era—equipped with a clear mission, certified coaching staff, formal training schedules, and a competitive roadmap for regional and national tournaments. This milestone represents not just our past growth but the beginning of a more ambitious journey ahead.
